The event was sponsored by the Harry A. Miller Club, founded in 1995 by the late Favid V. Uihlein, Sr., to honor the achievements of the distinguished engine and racing car designer the club is named for.<\/p>\n<p>Harry A. Miller was a Wisconsin native who became one of the most influential racing car designers in history. Miller based engines and cars dominated championship racing during the 1920s and 1930s, winning 38 Indianapolis 500 races..<\/p>\n<p>49 cars from 33 collectors from across the nation were on display. The cars ranged in years from a 1906 Lozier 7-passenger touring brought by Herb Singe, Jr. of Hillside, N.J. to a 1963 Watson Roadster entered by Dr. Robert Dicks of Greenwood, Ind.<\/p>\n<p>Event sponsors included Dana and Patti Mecum, Ed Pink Racing Engines, Inc., Racemaker Press and Phil Reilly &amp; Co., Inc. Vendors included Jerry Murawski selling racing memorabilia and models, Racemaker Press, parts dealers Bob Boyce, James Etter and Ken Walton and racing historian Gordon White who was selling a variety
