Formula-E<\/a>, the single seat all-electric racing series, presented its first ever public demonstration of the Spark-Renault SRT_01E race car on Monday in front of an underwhelmed crowd at CES 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada.<\/p>\n

While the car looks like a proper formula car, it seems to be missing its soul as it quietly hums past onlookers. Here at The Burnout<\/em> offices, we’re pretty much in agreement that while we don’t mind not having an exhaust note in our daily lives, there’s something unnerving when it comes to silent, zero emission race cars.<\/p>\n
