The Chevy family member that gets the little piece of chicken at dinner has always been the Chevy Vega. This Vega\u00a0however, is gunning for that big piece. <\/a>This 1971 example is a legitimate race car that can run a 6.20 (1\/8th mile). The engine is a bored and stroked 421 ci. Dart M block with forged goodies, a Holly 1000 CFM carb, plus a high rise intake and ported heads. The Vega puts the power down trough a Rossler built Turbo 400 tranny and Ford 9″ out back. If you are looking for a car with an insane power to weight ratio (2,350 Ilbs) this a great pocket rocket for under $20k, oh and get the trailer too for an extra $4k!<\/p>\n
