\"NHRDA-World-Finals-Drag-Race\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The NHRDA World Finals took place at Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX this past weekend, October 2nd & 3rd. \u00a0The usual drag racing, sled pulls, and burnout contests were held, and the 2015 NHRDA Champions were decided.<\/p>\n

In the Top Diesel class, Jared Jones took the win with a pass of 6.58 at 224.02 mph, which was the top speed for the class. \u00a0The runner up was Marty Thacker with a pass of 6.76 at 217.28 mph.<\/p>\n

In the Pro Stock class, Brian Spooner took home the trophy with his 2006 Chevy with a pass of 8.65 at 147.44 mph. \u00a0The runner up was Steve Royalty with his 1996 Dodge with a pass of 9.14 at 150.63 mph, which was the top speed for the class.<\/p>\n

Next up was the Pro Street class, and the winner was Jarid Vollmer with his 2007 Dodge with a pass of 9.11 at 160.90 mph. \u00a0This was also the top speed for the class.<\/p>\n

In the Super Street class, Daniel Pierce took the win with his 2003 Dodge with a pass of 9.28 at 148.87 mph. \u00a0The runner up was Derek Rose with his 2006 Dodge with a pass of 9.44 at 148.97 mph. \u00a0Rose also achieved the top speed for the class at 149.70 mph.<\/p>\n

The 10.90 Index winner was Max Kirtley with his 1978 Dodge with a pass of 10.91 at 121.96 mph, and the runner up was Phillip Franklin with his 2006 Dodge with a pass of 10..79 at 127.01 mph.<\/p>\n

The Super Diesel winner was Verlon Southwick with his 2006 GMC with a pass of 11.88 at 110.17 mph and the runner up was Dan Weaver with his 2005 GMC with a pass of 11.68 at 104.46 mph.<\/p>\n

Next up was the Sportsman class, and the winner was Trey Sikes with his 2010 VW with a pass of 15.61 at 85.08 mph. \u00a0The runner up was Verlon Southwick with his 2006 GMC with a pass of 12.10 at 105.07 mph.<\/p>\n

The Hot Rod Semi winner was Wayne Talkington with his 1963 Kenworth with a pass of 12.14 at 110.44 mph, and the runner up was Frank Fierro with his 1965 Peterbilt with a pass of 12.68 at 109.64 mph.<\/p>\n

Lastly, the Big Rig Bracket winner was John Yow with his 2005 Peterbilt with a pass of 15.95 at 97.12 mph, and the runner up was Justin Clifton with his 1998 Peterbilt with a pass of 16.23 at 91.28 mph.<\/p>\n
