With its massive 7.0L v-8, the Ford Gt40 howled through the Circuit de la Sarthe finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. \u00a0When Ford revealed the new Ford GT at Detroit people automatically jumped to assume a return to Le Mans; they were right. Obviously when transforming a production car into a race car there needs to be intense testing or shakedowns. These shakedowns are crucial for Ford engineers to dial in their race car, \u00a0every inch of the GT \u00a0is under a microscope.
