For over 25 years, Ellington, Connecticut based Seals-it has been known for high quality seals and other products, many of which play an important role in a race car as well as other industrial and motorsports applications.<\/p>\n

“Race teams worldwide use everything from our grommets to axle seals. Each and every weekend our products are being race tested from the weekend warrior all the way to the top levels of motorsports,”\u00a0says Mark Hann, Director of Business Development for Seals<\/span>–it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recently,\u00a0Seals-it<\/a>\u00a0announced a\u00a0complete redesign of the company\u2019s economy axle seal product line. The new design improves on the seals efficiency in providing superior sealing ability of the axle housing.<\/p>\n

“Seals-it takes pride in the quality of our\u00a0products,”\u00a0says Mark Hann,\u00a0“<\/span>all of which\u00a0are patented or patent pending. When you buy\u00a0a Seals-it product, you also get the\u00a0peace of mind of knowing its authentic.”<\/p>\n

After evaluating the\u00a0current economy axle seal line, Seals-it engineers\u00a0went to work on the best way to\u00a0improve upon a product already well-known, and well-regarded, in the market place, coming up with an improved lip on each seal that locks tightly inside the axle tube.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur goal here at Seals-it is, and has always been, to be the industry leader and by putting our products through an intense redesign process, will continue to show we are the leader,\u201d says \u00a0owner and president, Skip Matczak. “The new designs can be used in all types of applications including off road, circle track, dirt racing, asphalt racing, Jeeps, power boat racing, manufacturing and so much more\u201d.<\/p>\n

The EAS1-5, EAS2-5 and EAS3-5 are available in several sizes to fit an array of needs. The company can also custom make sizes to fit any application.<\/p>\n

“Our company can mold and bond rubber to steel and along with our CNC equipment and CAD\/CAM capabilities we can design, build and\u00a0manufacture parts to meet any needs.\u00a0All of the products we produce must pass our extensive quality control process and that is not just one part but all parts and our company goal is 100% customer satisfaction\u00a0with everything we produce,” explains Hann.<\/p>\n

In addition to changes to the economy line, the\u00a0AS Axle Seal product line used by 100% of all NASCAR\u2019s top three divisions is also going through the redesign and improvement process.<\/p>\n

“The applications are pretty much endless,” says Mark Hann. “We have three different sizes on the axle seal housing and a wide range of sizes for the seals that go in that housing plus we can make custom applications too. They work for everyone from the Saturday night racer who doesn’t want to spend the money for our NASCAR Cup style axle seal but still needs a seal to protect the rear end grease from running out in turns to that NASCAR racer.<\/p>\n

“We came up with a new, stronger lip on the seal which helps to keep it\u00a0in it’s proper location and improves on the sealing capability.”<\/p>\n
