On Saturday, the exhibit\u00a0\u201cHot Wheels\u2122: Race to Win\u2122\u201d opened at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. The interactive exhibit is designed to foster kids interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) careers, a term that has recently gained attention in hopes of encouraging not only boys to pursue jobs in the math and science field\u00a0but also girls.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe had the privilege of becoming part of the exhibit through our sponsorship of John Force Racing,\u201d said WELD president and CEO Norm Young. \u201cWe are excited to be a part of an exhibit that features the most famous toy vehicles for children and encourages them to pursue scientific and automotive careers.\u201d<\/p>\n
This display shows the thrills of racing by guiding kids through the\u00a0investigative process that happens when designing race cars\u00a0and\u00a0includes WELD Racing’s revolutionary, on-piece forged wheels that are used by JFR, the Delta-1. \u00a0Hot Wheels die-cast cars come into play to give kids a chance to collaborate, build, and test the world’s fastest and safest cars. With an authentic experience, the interactive display gives kids and their families a chance to\u00a0experience the innovation behind racing power, performance, and speed and encourage future interest in pursuing careers in the industry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
