On the morning of March 2, 2015, industry legend Jerry Magnuson passed away after a long battle with cancer. Jerry was the founder of Magnuson Superchargers<\/a> and one of the pioneers for aftermarket supercharging. He became famous by building race cars for the legendary Dan Gurney; he then started Magnuson Superchargers and specialized in supercharging motorcycles and drag bikes. After his business grew exponentially, he sold Magnuson Superchargers in 2010 and went on to start Trackmaster products, which specialized in building roadsters and various hot rod products. Jerry leaves behind a legacy of racing, hot rodding, and entrepreneurship, and his name will forever be synonymous with a roots blower whine rocketing down a track. He will be greatly missed.<\/p>\n
