In that earlier reveal of the first four events on its 2027 calendar, NHRA stated its 20-race schedule begins in Pomona, goes to Phoenix, Gainesville and zMAX Dragway outside Charlotte.<\/p>\n<p>Now the balance of the schedule, which includes 20 race weekend salutes to \u201c50 Years of Force\u201d as NHRA celebrates John Force and his unquenchable need for speed, No. 1 qualifiers, race wins and championships. From there it\u2019s off to Maryland for a May 21-23 race date, to Epping, NH June 4-6, Bristol June 11-13, then to Norwalk and the traditional end-of-June race meeting, June 24-27. If you were wondering what happened to Route 66 Raceway, it gets its race July 9-11, rather than mid-May, where it\u2019s been the past few years.<\/p>\n<p>The final four races of NHRA\u2019s regular season have fairly traditional dates: Sonoma July 23-25, Seattle July 30-August 1, Brainerd August 19-22, while the regular season crowns are bestowed at the 73rd annual Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, September 1-6.<\/p>\n<p>NHRA\u2019s Countdown to the Championship has, again, six playoff races to decide year-long championship titles, with three consecutive events starting at US 131 Motorsports Park in Michigan, September 17-19, a second straight visit to Rockingham\u2019s dragstyrip September 24-26, Wide World Technology Raceway\u2019s dragstrip October 1-3 before NHRA anchors Texas Motorplex\u2019s 10 Days of Speed October 13-17. The final two events of next season are in their traditional slots: The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, October 28-31 and In-N-Out Burger Dragstrip November 11-14.<\/p>\n<p>Full details of NHRA\u2019s \u201c50 Years of Force\u201d &#8211;
