As part of the U.S. Navy\u2019s 250th anniversary celebration, <em data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"480\">NASCAR San Diego<\/em> will debut as a three-day, high-octane street race weekend from June 19-21, 2026. This landmark event will feature the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and CRAFTSMAN Truck Series\u2014marking the first-ever NASCAR race on an active military installation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"754\" data-end=\"1038\">The Cup Series street course race will headline on Sunday, June 21, and is only the second time NASCAR has hosted a street race. Fans can also catch the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series on Friday and Xfinity action on Saturday, with full event details and track layout to be announced soon.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1253\">\u201cThis is a powerful way to honor America\u2019s military and showcase NASCAR\u2019s commitment to innovation,\u201d said Ben Kennedy, EVP of Racing Development. \u201cWe\u2019re proud to bring top-tier motorsports to Naval Base Coronado.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1255\" data-end=\"1543\">The race course will wind through Naval Air Station North Island, the birthplace of naval aviation, bringing together two American icons: NASCAR and the U.S. Navy. The event pays tribute to the Navy\u2019s values\u2014grit, precision, and service\u2014mirrored in the intensity of racing at 200 mph.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1545\" data-end=\"1719\">NASCAR San Diego\u2019s official logo features the U.S. Navy\u2019s own F\/A-18 Super Hornet and elements representing land, sea, and air\u2014underscoring the Navy&#8217;s full-domain operations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1721\" data-end=\"1925\">Amy Lupo has been named President of NASCAR San Diego.
