As one of the <strong data-start=\"381\" data-end=\"417\">longest-running indoor car shows<\/strong> in the world, this year\u2019s event was packed with automotive artistry, history, and horsepower. More than 400 awards were handed out, highlighting the best in custom car culture.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"596\" data-end=\"627\">Lit Up and Leading the Pack<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"629\" data-end=\"1165\">The prestigious <strong data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"666\">Custom d\u2019Elegance<\/strong> award\u2014one of the show\u2019s top honors\u2014went to Jimmy Hervatin\u2019s jaw-dropping <strong data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"763\">1952 Ford F1 pickup<\/strong>, dubbed <em data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"783\">\u201cLit Up.\u201d<\/em> Inspired by a Keith Weesner painting of the same name, this stunning truck was chopped six inches, sectioned, and dropped on a custom chassis. With custom running boards, shaved handles, and a completely reimagined bed, it\u2019s powered by a 1954 Oldsmobile 324 and finished in pearl blue, pearl white, and red flake flames. Hervatin walked away with a $5,000 prize from ARP Fasteners.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1167\" data-end=\"1225\">Best of the West: Corvette \u201cTwelveAir\u201d Takes the Crown<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1227\" data-end=\"1790\">The <strong data-start=\"1231\" data-end=\"1271\">West Coast Challenge Car Show Series<\/strong>, presented by ARP Fasteners, named its Grand Champion at the Autorama. David Maxwell took home the <strong data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1391\">Best of the West<\/strong> trophy and a $12,500 check for his futuristic <strong data-start=\"1438\" data-end=\"1467\">1953 Corvette \u201cTwelveAir\u201d<\/strong>, a jaw-dropping Kindig-It Design build. Maxwell competed against 10 other elite builds across a series of top-tier events in California, Oregon, and Washington. Cliff Mattis and Carlos Martinez rounded out the top three with their 1957 Chevy Convertible and 1964 Impala Convertible, earning $6,500 and $3,500 respectively.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1792\" data-end=\"1844\">Lowrider Royalty: \u201cBreaking Bad\u201d Impala Wins Big<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1846\" data-end=\"2276\">Back for a second year, the <strong data-start=\"1874\" data-end=\"1909\">World\u2019s Most Beautiful Lowrider<\/strong> award was once again a crowd favorite. This year\u2019s winner: Eric Wisterman\u2019s <strong data-start=\"1986\" data-end=\"2011\">1962 Chevrolet Impala<\/strong>, inspired by <em data-start=\"2025\" data-end=\"2040\">Breaking Bad.<\/em> Co-built by Jim Basgall, the custom lowrider features stunning murals by Albert Herrera, pinstriping by Alan Signs, an interior by Daniel Moreno, and hydraulics by Mike Ishiki. Wisterman also received a $5,000 prize from ARP Fasteners.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"2278\" data-end=\"2313\">Celebrating a Sacramento Legacy<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2315\" data-end=\"2604\">\u201cThis weekend was a celebration of Sacramento\u2019s deep history of hot rodding and automotive culture,\u201d said John Buck, owner of Rod Shows. \u201cThe cars, the people, the energy\u2014it all came together to make this year\u2019s Autorama truly special. We\u2019re already looking ahead to celebrating the 75th!\u201d<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"2606\" data-end=\"2655\">Big B Awards: Celebrating Custom Car Heritage<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2657\" data-end=\"2798\">Four of the most anticipated honors at the Sacramento Autorama are the historic <strong data-start=\"2737\" data-end=\"2753\">Big B Awards<\/strong>, and this year\u2019s winners did not disappoint:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2800\" data-end=\"3268\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2800\" data-end=\"2915\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2802\" data-end=\"2915\"><strong data-start=\"2802\" data-end=\"2852\">H.A.
