The Chevy Nova is a multi-faceted piece of nostalgia – part muscle car, part dragster dream, its developed a cache of cool that history could never have predicted.  But take a coat of tiger-orange paint, add some custom wheels, cut down the trunk, shave the door handles, and crazy with the cheeze-whiz pinstripes, it becomes even cooler.

This ’66 Pro Street Chevy Nova has been upgraded from top to bottom, complete with a funny car roll cage in case you decide to rip it down the drag strip.   It’s a killer street car, but has the potential to be even meaner on the drag strip.

Nothing was spared on this custom build, with the hand fabricated air induction system and homemade trunk panel, and those little details have made it a Super Chevy Winner Best of Show.

We’re not saying you need this car to be cool, but it wouldn’t hurt to have it in your garage.  Just think of the fun you could have at car shows and drag strips, taking trophies all around.
