As anyone who has ever built or customized a car knows, the amount of time it will take to finish the build is directly proportional to how quickly you need it to be done. Meaning, if you’ve got deadlines, it will be impossible to finish the car on time. Which is to say that we’ve had some unavoidable delay on turning our vision of the perfect beach cruiser into reality, but we’re close enough to take the show on the road.

The amazing folks at Outkast Kustoms have been working on turning the RacingJunk.com/ VisitMyrtleBeach.com ’53 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery into a modern classic since the spring and the end is finally in sight. Components from Pace Performance, WELD Wheels, Heidts Hot Rod & Muscle Car Parts, PPG, Flaming River, Painless Performance, Vintage Air & Dakota Digital have been installed, and the vehicle is on its way to the Kentucky Speedway for the NASCAR XFINITY Series VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 and the 2nd VisitMyrtleBeach.com/RacingJunk.com Car Show at the Speedway on Saturday, September 26  from noon-5 p.m. which will see cars lining the Speedway.
