Pinup Pole Show Pinup of the Week: Tonya Kay
This week’s column features photos from one of the best days of my life! And yes, that means it’s me, Tonya Kay the writer of this column, as this week’s Pinup Pole Show Pinup of the Week, posing with my own classic car, the Grape Space Coaster a 1965 Buick Riviera, photographed by Shane Karns and Rick Guzman at my own show, Tonya Kay’s Pinup Pole Show Wanna know why this is one of the best days of my life?
I’d owned my Riviera for probably 5 years trying to save up dough and piece together the next improvement when finally, I decided to put her into Anaheim Rod and Custom for a partial restoration. At the timing of this particular Pinup Pole Show, my ride had been in the shop for 3 months being restored by expert hands - I hadn’t seen her finished yet, so I decided to throw a Riviera Reveal Party at my very own classic car cruise-in! Anaheim Rod and Custom worked so well with and brought my baby up on a flatbed and kept her covered as the cruise-in filled in. I intentionally stayed inside the theatre until the reveal because … oh, the anticipation! When I walked down to my own car show, I saw STUNNING cars assembled in a rainbow of classic color and one striking shape under a cover. My Pinup Pole Show stars did the unveiling, as you can see - what a dream come true! I wept with joy and revved the engine and had some big fun with my new white interior and shiny chromed engine. We all posed and celebrated the classic automobile and it really was one of the best days of my life. So much love and beauty and friendship and cars all in one place.

I must say…Ms Tonya is not afraid of a days work.
Not indeed!
Gorgeous as always, Tonya.
You’re my favorite pinup girl, period. 🥰 🥰 🥰
Now that’s a compliment! Thank you, David!
My sincere congrats Tonya, on your beautiful restification of the Grape Space Coaster…sure looks like a show winner to me…..excellent work performed by the shop…now she’s good & safe for you to cruise…enjoy & best of luck on your cruises…..love the color combos too…grape & white are awesome….grille really stands out as well…
Thank you, Joe. I didn’t think it could be more powerful, but VROOM – it sure was! That grill was made by a SoCal local and the white interior I’m still torn about. Haha. It looks great, but shoot, the dye in even blue jeans comes off on that seat! No more eating or drinking while driving:)
Agreed, White is not an easy color to maintain………..but it’s so right for your car with the Grape……….just my humble opinion…..
