Pinup Pole Show Pinup of the Week: Cherry Rosie with a 1973 Lotus Elan Plus 2

This week’s Pinup Pole Show Pinup of the Week is one of our favorite family members, Cherry Rosie! Rosie just seems surrounded by class and style. Heck, she’s won our Best Vintage Dress contest multiple times - that’s how impressive she is to her fellow fashionistas! She is 29 years old and has lived in Los Angeles her entire life. She works as a teaching assistant in a preschool and her favorite time of year with the children is putting together and rehearsing for the annual winter program and graduation (choreographing their dance and putting together the recital).
In this series, you’ll see Cherry Rosie posing with Simon (of OddSquad cc)’s 1973 Lotus Elan Plus 2 and photographed by none other than her husband himself, Rick Guzman, all at Tonya Kay’s Pinup Pole Show! Let’s talk to Cherry Rosie about her love of modeling and classic cars:
TONYA KAY: When did you start modeling?
CHERRY ROSIE: It began by going to car shows; my husband would be shooting cars and I would admire the other pinups getting photographed. He would ask me if I'd like to pose for him. Slowly I began to dabble in the style and felt more comfortable in front of the camera.
TONYA KAY: What drew you to classic cars?
CHERRY ROSIE: My older brothers. I remember they had classic car posters and model cars in their rooms; the elegant lines and ruggedness of classics always caught my attention.
TONYA KAY: Do you own a classic? What is your dream classic car?
CHERRY ROSIE: Unfortunately I do not own a classic; my dream classic would be a 1970 Barracuda or a 1959 Eldorado.
