I didn’t know how much I love classic VWs until Jose showed up with his crew to this show. That’s why car shows are so valuable - there are so many different types of people in the world and they all express their own culture, family history, individual essence through their automobiles. I’d never gotten to get a leisurely look at a Squareback before, or sit inside a Bus and imagine the camping fun a life with one could hold. With car shows and cruise-ins like Tonya Kay’s Pinup Pole Show, everyone rallies to share their machine and with it, their essence. Together, we all make up what is known as classic car culture. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
