Pinup Pole Show Pinup of the Week: Candace Cane

We hold our show year-round, so you’ll see a lot of variance in the lighting of our classic car cruise-in + pinup photos.  Car owners still love a Los Angeles-based December show, but we’re shooting in complete darkness that time of year.  And the models tend to wear more clothing because it’s chilly.  Yes, even in L.A.  My personal favorite time of year to shoot is May, September, because we’re getting the dramatic California sunsets in those shots, which is always interesting and they don’t call it “beauty light” for nothing!  In this set, you see our lighting in March.  It’s darker outside and we even had some rare cloud coverage that evening!  And that’s where magnificent photographers make all the difference.  Marti Matulis captured some lovely shots of Candace here without additional lighting, seemingly against all odds.  And let’s face it, Pinup Pole Show star, Candace Cane needs no retouching!
