The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) has spent more than 70 years creating some of the most exciting racing available. Established by visionary founder Wally Parks in 1951, this well-known mecca of drag racing has grown from its humble, grassroots beginnings into one of the most historic forms of motorsports featuring some of motorsport’s biggest stars. In order to honor, celebrate and commemorate all that has come to pass in the care and sanctioning of the NHRA organization, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) museum was established in 1998, which currently houses innumerable artifacts that help to tell the story of so many speed-inspired racers and the people and fans that have gathered together to show their support over the years. From the Carroll Shelby famed motorsports collection this Dragon Snake Foam Core Picture features one of only five Dragon Snake Cobras. The same car that NHRA Funny Car world champion Bruce Larson began his drag racing fame.

From one motorsports legend to another, this plastic print feature’s one of the NHRA’s most successful racers – Kenny Bernstein. Nicknamed the King of Speed Bernstein was the first driver to break 300 miles per hour in the standing-start quarter mile. The former NASCAR and IndyCar team owner also became the only team owner to record victories in all three motorsports categories – drag racing, open wheel racing, and stock car racing.

This sweet, autographed Ford Mustang hood is signed by American automotive designer, racing driver, and entrepreneur Carroll Shelby. Best known for his involvement with the AC Cobra and later with Mustang-based performance cars, Shelby is also the only motorsports icon to win the 24 hours of Le Mans as a driver, team manager, and manufacturer.
