NHRA and FOX Sports Partner Up for Years to Come

The NHRA and FOX Sports have officially announced that the 2016 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series will be televised by FOX Sports 1. There will be four events airing on the FOX national broadcast network during each season of the partnership. The NHRA hopes that this partnership will shed some more light on their hallowed sport.
“This really is a game-changer for NHRA regarding the presentation of our marquee product, the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series,” said Peter Clifford, NHRA president. “FOX Sports promises to be just the right media partner we’ve been looking for to help give our professional series the stage it deserves and to provide our passionate fans the timely, quality coverage they are craving.”
FOX Sports are no stranger to motorsports; they have televised high-powered races NASCAR, Monster Energy Supercross, the FIA World Endurance Championship, the 24 Hours of Le Mans and even the fully-electric FIA Formula E Championship, among others. The new deal will also include FOX Sports Racing in Canada and the Caribbean as well as the critically acclaimed FOX Sports GO App.

FOX Sports will also promote the NHRA Mello Yello Series across all of its media platforms ensuring an influx of viewership and hopefully new fans.
