New Holley Track Warrior Carburetor is Excellent for Any Use

Holley carburetors are the best available for generating gobs of power and giving excellent throttle response. However, they’ve always had one major problem when it comes to helping translate that extra power into low elapsed times and better finishes on the track: they were heavy. The problem with weight is it takes horsepower and torque to overcome that weight (inertia) and move it down the track quickly. So, if you can reduce the overall weight of your car, you’re going to do better on race day. Holley’s new Track Warrior line of carburetors does just that.
The main body and metering blocks of the Track Warrior carburetor lineup are aluminum. This gives the Track Warrior a significant weight reduction over previous carburetor lines from any manufacturer. As the Track Warrior is based on Holley’s tried and tested classic 4150HP carburetor, you know you’re getting a carburetor that’s going to help your engine generate as much horsepower and torque as it can. The aluminum construction shaves 40 percent off what the 4150HP weighed though, so more of that generated power from your engine can go towards decreasing your ETs and increasing your top speeds, whether you’re running quarter miles, autocrossing, or circle track racing.
As mentioned before, Holley’s Track Warrior carburetors are based on the tried and true 4150HP carburetor lineup. Their aluminum-construction bodies and metering blocks just make them better. They utilize the same contoured venturi design to ensure complete atomization of the air-fuel mixture, which in turn ensures complete combustion and more power generated. Holley stuck with the excellent mechanical secondaries to give the extra get-up-and-go you need, whether you’re tripping the lights at the track or trying to pass that big rig as you merge onto the freeway.
Improvements in technology have allowed new race calibrations to provide even better throttle response than previous models. A knurled thumbscrew makes idle adjustments quick and easy. There are also idle adjuster screws on all four corners, allowing you to fine-tune the idle mix to your needs.
The billet metering blocks ensure that the seal between the blocks and the body and float bowls is secure. Holley also built excellent adjustability into these carburetors, with fully adjustable emulsion bleeds, power valve restrictors, and idle feed restrictions. Holley makes sure that every carb performs to the best of its abilities before shipping by wet flow testing each and every carb before it leaves the factory.
