Camaro, a proud name on and off the circuit, was probably at its zenith during the mid-to-late-1960s with the introduction and evolution of the RS, SS and Z-28. It was Mustang’s closest rival with its long hood and short deck exterior riding on a 108-inch wheelbase, and was offered as a coupe or convertible.
