Our second International Finalist in the Mooneyes Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show Pinup Contest is Miss Lisa Frankenstein! Raised in arguably the definition of small town USA, Lisa spent a good deal of her youth admiring the vintage scene and longing for the confidence to dress up and partake. However, as she soon found out, her small town in the Midwest wasn’t the best for cultivating a prime pinup wardrobe. It wasn’t until her mid-twenties, several moves across country later, that she purchased a floral swing dress on a whim and never looked back.
Lisa was drawn to the pinup lifestyle not only because of the beautiful clothing, but because the community is one of acceptance. She loves that pinup looks great on any body size, shape, gender, age or color. She loves the feeling that dressing up gives her, and that it celebrates her body type.
Currently, Miss Frankenstein is living overseas in Yokosuka, Japan. She’s spent much of her free time these days planning her outfit for her first ever pinup competition in Japan - the 2nd Annual Mooneyes Pinup Girl Contest during the Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Car Show this December! Lisa is honored to be able to be a part of the contest, and cannot wait for the show!
