Took my hotrod for ride and was lucky enough to stop in to see Tab Chapman and Clif Chapman of Diamondback Classics located in Conway, SC. Diamond Back creates white wall tires, redline tires and other custom tires for prewar cars, postwar cars, modern cars, Corvettes, muscle cars, European cars and many more. In speaking with Tab, finding that niche has always been a proven strategy to a successful business. This rings especially true at Diamond Back Classics Radials. Ever since 1914 in what began as a local service station, this family business has shown time and time again that they have what it takes to adapt to an ever changing business environment. Fast forward to today. The third and fourth generation of the Chapman family have developed what is arguably the very best line of vintage tires on the market. Their latest achievement is the introduction of the Auburn line of vintage styled radials. From bead to bead, these tires have that true vintage look but give that true radial performance.
