Chemical Guys Steps Up to Support Race & Performance Enthusiasts

Chemical Guys Teams Up with RacingJunk.com, FordTruckEnthusiasts.com, F150online.com, HDForums, com, and LS1Tech.com to provide prizes for No Shows No Problems Virtual Car Shows

RacingJunk.com and four of the Internet Brands Auto Communities are hosting a series of virtual car shows as part of the No Shows No Problem Virtual Trade Show, running October 28-30, 2020, and have teamed up with auto detailing manufacturers Chemical Guys to say thank you to all of our participants.

The Southern California-based company is both a local, and national, favorite for its exceptional products and DIY-attitude (seriously, two of our Auto Communities editors, Derin Richardson and Michael Palmer, consider them their neighborhood shop and nearly lost their minds when given the opportunity to go tour the facility.)

Founded with the intention of “providing, the community, businesses, business professionals, clients, auto enthusiasts and friends with the highest quality car care products, service, advice and help at any price,” Chemical Guys has become as much community as manufacturer, making them such a welcome addition to a show designed to celebrate the past and look ahead to the future of race, performance and enthusiast pursuits.

Chemical guys will be supplying “The Best Detailing Kit” for each of the Best of Category winners. The kit comes with Citrus Wash & Gloss, Butter Wet Wax, Speed Wipe Quick Detail Spray, VRP Vinyl, Rubber, Plastic Shine Protector, Leather Conditioner, Wheel Guard and Rim Wax, and, of course 3 microfiber applicators and a towel.

This is an awesome way for our Best of Category winners to keep their rides looking sweet and shiny.

And for the GRAND PRIZE WINNER, Chemical Guys have generously donated a Torqx Random Orbital Polisher Kit, worth over $250!

For those familiar with machine polishers, this one features a 680-watt motor, 8mm dual action orbital throw, and compact design. It’s easy to use, powerful and delicate as needed, and ruggedly built. For those less familiar, this machine is designed to remove paint defects like swirls and scratches, and will totally up your detailing game, whether you’re a first-time newb, passionate enthusiast, or budding pro.

(No PR speak here, mind you. We bought one of these for full price about four years ago and never looked back.)

Why would you want such a device, you may be asking? No matter how hard you try to protect your paint and clear coat, defects emerge over time. Scratches. Hard water spots. Dreaded swirl marks. Which is why you need to polish and repair. But, if you’ve ever tried to hand-polish a car and older car or even remove a new clear-coat scratch, you’ve probably spent far too much time for minimal results. This Torqx Random Orbital Polisher makes things faster and easier without major risk of damaging your paint (please follow all instructions). This is a machine that will help you restore aging paint or return like-new finishes to factory perfection… A process made even easier with the included Chemical Guys V32-V38 four-pack of compounds and polishes, allowing you to, step-by-step, bring out maximum shine.

It’s relatively simple to learn, but the great thing is that Chemical Guys is ready to help. (See, stepping in to help us reward our fellow enthusiasts!)
