While the middle of the summer is usually the time of year when the racing season is at one of its highest points, this has been one of the strangest race seasons by far. Despite a worldwide pandemic trying to be the victor during the 2020 motorsports season, there is one race series who has taken the battle against this virus head on and has found a way to return to the joys of racing.
After becoming the first national motorsports series to race again during the COVID-19 pandemic, the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Models and NOS Energy Sprint Car series are also the first to race with grandstands full of healthy fans. How is this possible while the number of virus cases seems to be on the rise? We caught up with World of Outlaws CEO Brian Carter to find how he and his amazing staff are doing all that they can to continue being the premier dirt track racing series for the next 40 years.
