This week, Candace Cane helps remind us to appreciate the good ol’ days - you know, like last month? Candace is this week’s shining Pinup Pole Show Pinup of the Week and she’s just glowing here posing with Teddy Yonenaka’s 1973 Datsun 240z DISCO STATION, wearing fashion curated by Ruby Champagne and photographed by the brilliant Ryan Enos at Tonya Kay’s Pinup Pole Show. We really hope our smiles help put a smile on your face, too. Let’s learn more about what Candace loves about the photographic arts:
TONYA KAY: When viewing others’ photographic works, what are you drawn to?
CANDACE CANE: I mostly look at the lighting and composition of a photograph. Also, I try to scout any photoshop mishaps.
TONYA KAY: Why is photography an important part of your life?
CANDACE CANE: Photography has been a constant throughout my life. My parents always took pictures of me and as I got into acting and modeling there were more photos being taken. I love that images can remind you of memories or a time that has fled.

Tonya, she’s a beauty. 240 is ok. Be well.
Indeed, Bob! You be well, too. Thinking of all my greaser friends now.
Just my personnel opinion, but a “Pinup of the Week” should be as much about the model as the car! That’s what makes a classic photo shoot, to me! Poor ‘Candace’ is only in 2 of the photos, the car is in all 5! I think you owe it to the Model’s to feature them as much as the cars! I’m sure the Model’s work at getting ready as much as the car owners work at prepping the cars! Equal billing! LOL 🙂
Hey, Glenn. It’s Tonya Kay, writer of this column and producer of these photoshoots. Thanks for your opinion and thanks for reading my column! Also, thanks for wanting to see more of Candace. She’s a real beauty inside and out. What gets posted is always what turns out from the shoot. Candace had very few photos from this shoot. But definitely take a look at our weekly column here https://www.racingjunk.com/news/author/tonya-kay/ (I’ve been sharing our shoots for the past year and a half!). You’ll see most of our shoots have far more model photos turn out than car. Enjoy!
Thank you Tonya Kay! I really enjoy your column and photo shoots! The Classic /Nostalgia look of the Model’s and Cars in the photo shoots bring back great memories of days gone by! That’s why I love your photo shoots and column! (especially when both are in the photo!) Have fun, always!
It’s my love, too, Glenn. I’m so glad you read and view the column. It matters. I look forward to sharing more nostalgic beauty with you right here:)
Both Candace and you Tonya are gorgeous! Keep showing them please! Stay safe, healthy and beautiful!!
Pedro, you’re a gem. Thank you for reading us and you stay safe, too!
Would love to see Candance in swimsuit like some of the other models, she is beautiful. Keep up the good work!
Keep reading this column then! Candace is a company member of Pinup Pole Show, so you’ll certainly see her modeling in a variety of outfits, including swimwear, with a variety of great classics. Also, you can follow us on http://instagram.com/pinuppoleshow and browse the photography from our live shows as well!
I love your Pinup Pole Show but for reason or another when I scroll through the photos only the first two are the only ones I can see after that everyone is just plain white. Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong on the site.
Thank You,
Rick
I’m guessing you might have a slow down on your internet right now? Lots of people using lots of bandwidth? Perhaps allowing the slides/pages to load an inordinate amount of time might solve the issue? It’s looking good from my internet here in Los Angeles. Let me know!
