Pinup Pole Show Pinup of the Week: Monica Kay!

This week’s Pinup Pole Show Pinup of the Week is the undeniable Monica Kay! Here you see our resident vegan artist and art studio owner, posing with Fabian Sanchez (of Duke’s Car Club Hollywood) 1956 Ford Fairlane lowered 4” with a 292 ci Thunderbird engine and custom interior. Monica Kay is modeling Ruby Champagne-curated fashion with NicCoCo Creations hair fascinator and photographer Ryan Enos Creative is capturing the beauty and fun in one gorgeous frame after another at Tonya Kay’s Pinup Pole Show! Let’s get to know what Monica Kay loves about being a part of still photographic arts: TONYA KAY: What type of demeanor and communication from a photographer do you work best with? MONICA KAY: I really love when I can hear the click of the camera. That helps me micro adjust my pose or just move on to another pose. One time I was at a shoot where the photographer's assistant was cheering me on and saying things such as, "yeah, that's great" and "oh, that's gorgeous" almost like a cheerleader and I really appreciated it. That kind of energy fuels me and keeps me from doubting or second guessing myself. TONYA KAY: When viewing others’ photographic works, what are you drawn to? MONICA KAY: I am a fan of composition. The rule of thirds comforts me. TONYA KAY: Why is photography an important part of your life? MONICA KAY: First reason is that I am an artist and I love being the subject of art as well as being a creator of art. Second reason is vanity. I love having this documentary of my life. I love seeing how I age through photos. I love seeing my same poses in different settings and in different attire. I love being immortalized on paper and in digital pictures. I also enjoy thinking about the future of photography - how when I was in college, digital photography was new. Where will photography be in five years? How about 10 years? When I'm a little old lady model, what gizmos will be used to create photos??
