Click Here to Begin Slideshow Hot rod and pinup photographer Mitzi Valenzuela is known for having her finger on the pulse of both classic and rockabilly car culture. As part of that, Mitzi produces pinup contests for shows all over the world. Here she shares photos of the competitors and some super sweet rides. Here are a few words from pinup model Ms. Vintage Roze, second place finalist at the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show: Born first generation Mexican-American, my parents were a big influence when it came to music, movie icons and fashion from their days. As I grew older, I began to collect small vintage things such as accessories and soon developed a passion for the 1940's and 1950's. My favorite memories are with my father, who would take me to swapmeets looking for bargains. My mother's influence was her love for the cinema. The glamorous actresses of the Golden Era sparked new hobbies that I enjoy today. Attending fleamarkets to find my own bargains and hunting for treasures are what thrills me. Competing at 2020's Grand National Roadster Show was my opportunity to show off some of my best true vintage pieces and accessories. I had the pleasure of gracing the stage alongside eleven other powerhouse women. As an added bonus to my experience, I had the most absolute honor of placing 2nd for the Trophy Queen title. The experience was amazing on so many levels. To be in the same room with prestigious car owners and teams was a honor. With the many female movements, it was nice to have been in the company of brave and inspiring women in the classic car culture.
