Some words from the model: "Grand National Roadster Show 2018 was the first Pinup Pageant I had ever watched. I could only fantasize about being a contestant while watching gal after gorgeous gal strut across that stage. One year later, and here I am: The 2019 Trophy Queen! Someone please pinch me, 'cause this still feels like a dream. "This contest was everything I'd hoped for and more. I savored every moment, from being announced as a finalist, to finding my perfect vintage gown, to the buzz and energy the day of. You could not have asked for a lovelier group of contestants. Oh, and the crowd! The crowd was simply amazing! Hearing their cheers of support pushed all my nerves away, and I knew I was among friends. "For me, the draw to car shows is, of course, the beautiful classic cars, but also the stories behind them. With every new owner another piece is added to their own intricate puzzle. All the little details: Every stitch and each flake adds to the story. Every Classic is unique, and that’s what makes them so special. "The honor of being on stage to present the awards Sunday was a whole new experience for me. The excitement on the winners' faces when they came to accept their trophies, awards for doing what they love, and sharing in each winner's moment was extraordinary. This is what makes our community unique. This is more than a hobby or a just chance to dress up. This is every day. It's a passion. These shows are an opportunity to be surrounded by peers who love to celebrate our culture, knowing that they appreciate the '40s and '50s as much you. "The Grand National Roadster Show 70th Anniversary is one I'll never forget. I still can't believe I'm the Trophy Queen! I'll be counting down the days till GNRS 2020!"
