The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series and California race tracks have united to form the Outlaws California Fire Relief Tour in response to the catastrophic wildfires which have recently raged throughout California. The Tour will donate $1 of every ticket sold directly to the California Fire Foundation.

In the month of November, two wildfires caused widespread devastation in both Northern and Southern California, affecting thousands of people right before the Holiday Season. In Northern California, for over a month, Silver Dollar Speedway served as the base for the brave firefighters battling the country’s deadliest wildfire in a century. At the same time, a second wildfire in Southern California was causing untold amounts of damage to hapless citizens.

Joining the tracks, the World of Outlaws has formed the Outlaws California Fire Relief Tour, officially planned to start at Silver Dollar Speedway on Friday, March 15 and end on Saturday, March 30 at Perris Auto Speedway. Alongside the donations from ticket sales, purchases of Outlaws California Fire Relief Tour shirts will send $5 per shirt to the California Fire Foundation. Finally, a select number of tickets to each event will be donated to local firefighters.

“One of the most anticipated stretches of the season, especially for California fans, is the World of Outlaws month-long tour in March through the Golden State,” said World of Outlaws COO Tom Deery. “We wanted to do something to help those communities heal and we couldn’t be prouder to raise money for the California Fire Foundation and to be donating tickets to the firefighters, who have become heroes to many families.”

“This is a catastrophe that the racing community has never seen, and it is pretty amazing to see the outpouring of support,” said Troy Henning, who has been the announcer at Silver Dollar Speedway for 20 years. “The idea of giving a dollar from every ticket sold is an incredible gesture from the World of Outlaws and our community is very appreciative.”

Fans unable to attend the races in California who would still like to participate will be able to purchase the Outlaws California Fire Relief Tour shirt online, as well as purchase additional tickets to donate to local firefighters at WorldofOutlaws.com/tix.

The 2019 World of Outlaws season begins in at Volusia Speedway Park near Daytona Beach, FL, with the running of the DIRTcar Nationals from February 5th through 16th.

  1. Thanks to the World of Outlaws for your support of the People devasted by this disaster. People who have not dealt with A disaster like this have NO IDEA the mental effect on the people. My wife and I are currently helping A friend of A friend who lost everything. We lost our home in Florida to A fire 13 years ago and it was devastating, however it was nothing compared to a disaster on this magnitude. As A former racer and from Pensacola Florida(we now live in Northern California),I hope that ALL the major Motor Sports venues follow suit and do something similar to help the people who have lost so much. Thanks Again World of Outlaws!!!
