The Museum was opened in 1945 as the Fort Worth Children’s Museum and switched over to its current name in 1968. They offer many exhibits such as Tornado Alley, Grossology, Omni Theater and an IMAX Theater. The museum is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm and Sunday, 12pm-5pm.

Log Cabin Village
The Log Cabin Village is a living history museum that opened its doors in 1966. It began with moving and restoring 6 log houses dating back to the mid 1800’s. Today you can take group tours, participate in Pioneer School or just wander around the cabins, smokehouse and blacksmith shop. The Village is open Tuesday-Sunday, year round.

Bureau of Engraving & Printing
The Fort Worth location is one of the only two in the county that print money. You can tour the facility which includes an informational theater film, interactive exhibits and a suspended walkway that overlooks the printing room. Admission is free and the self-guided tours are available Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm.
