The NSRA is celebrating the 50th Annual Street Rod Nationals and Johnson’s Hot Rod Shop is helping out as one of the builders of the two 2019 Street Rod Nationals Giveaway Cars. During the 49th Annual Street Rod Nationals, a 1932 Ford Roadster was unveiled.
The roadster project is being built with keeping the traditional form and adding more function. The project centers around a Johnson’s built ’32 Ford chassis, ’32 Ford Roadster steel body from Brookeville Roadster and a Boss 302 engine from Ford Performance Parts built by Automotive Specialists Racing Engines.
Automotive enthusiasts will be able to follow the build of the Roadster project through Streetscene magazine, Johnson’s Hot Rod Shop and NRSA social media pages. The finished Roadster will make its debut August 1-4, 2019, when one lucky participant will be chosen at random to win the keys.
Located in Gadsden, AL, Johnson’s Hot Rod Shop is built on the foundation of performance and strength by becoming the driving force for today’s modern hot rods. A JHRS built hot rod combines high quality street rod building with the pure muscle of the street machine world.
NSRA is an organization that hosts a number of Street Rod, Muscle Car and Street Machine events throughout the US. The organization has been hosting vintage automobile events since 1970 by bringing automotive lovers from all genres together for affordable family fun.
