Fire at Toronto Motorsports Park Leaves Destruction in its Wake

Police in the province of Ontario, Canada are in the process of investigating a fire at a popular Canadian dragway and roadcourse racing facility near the town of Cayuga. During the ALL OUT Live drag racing event in Toronto Haldimand County, Fire Services and paramedics rushed to the drag strip after campers who were attending this event reported a structure engulfed in flames around 4:00 a.m. early Monday morning.

After arrival, officials found a garage that contained six vehicles. Although fire officials did all they could to extinguish this fire in a timely manner, both the building and the drag racing machines inside were destroyed.

While no one was injured, this fire continues to be investigated for potential arson.

“It has yet to be determined if the fire is suspicious or not and it remains under investigation,” said Ontario Provincial Police officials.
