The 2017 Throw Down in T-Town was an action packed event. Race cars from far and wide traveled from all over the United States to Tulsa Raceway Park in Tulsa, OK.  If you drag it, they will come; and they did. Racing fans came out in full force! The bleachers were jam-packed full to capacity and with tickets for only $10 it’s easy to see why. The brand new Pro Mod Series threw down for the first time at this event and series founder Keith Haney held the pole position with a 3.75 elapsed time during qualifying. Haney was eventually bounced by Jonas Aleshire who made his way to the finals taking down Eddie Rodgers for the first ever Midwest Pro Mod Series victory.

Racer Brandon Lewis steamrolled his way through the finals in the Outlaw Pro Mod Competition. Stan Smith tried to slow down the smoldering Lewis but a broken blower belt ultimately sealed his fate while Lewis took the win at a blistering 3.69 at 208 mph.

The Radial -vs- The World/Outlaw 10.5 Competition had a final race between number one qualifier Mark Woodruff and Mark Micke. Woodruff kept up his momentum and took home the win after Micke turned a -.009 at the line and Woodruff rocketed down the track.

Other winners included Kenny Hubard in X275 drag radical racing, Tony Foulks in Pro Street, Doug Woody in Quick 32, Tim Hendricks in MX235, Anthony Rodgers in Gassers and Lance Mason in Jr. Dragster.
