The Garage-Girls Ultimate Biker Makeover, brought to you by Allstate Motorcycle Insurance, is now in its 9th year. This fantastic contest offers the opportunity for one biker to receive a huge number of parts and accessories, for both bike and rider, from major supporting sponsors. Contestants (girls and guys) must submit an essay of up to 600 words describing why they are most in need of a biker makeover, as well as a photograph (a jpeg no larger than 5mb) to [email protected]. The deadline for entries is July 7.
Selected judges from Garage-Girls will decide who will receive the Ultimate Biker Makeover and take home all the prizes, including a wardrobe of shoes from Harley-Davidson Footwear, a case of full synthetic oil from Spectro Oils, a new Mustang Motorcycle Seat, a set of tires from AVON Tyres, a Valerie bag by Motochic, Surprises from S&S Cycle, Klock Werks, Kuryakyn, DEI, Memphis Shades, Indian Motorcycle and even more! The winning biker will be announced August 10 on Garage-Girls.com and Garage-Girls FB page.
Last year’s winner was Leah Misch, a volunteer with American Red Cross, who sent in her story of overcoming obstacles on a solo cross-country biking journey. Over the course of her 17,000 mile trip, she actually wore holes through much of her riding gear, rendering it unsafe – so the judges at Garage-Girls decided to give her the Ultimate Biker Makeover and replace it!
