Since its creation in 1926, Ducati has created high-performance motorcycles featuring cutting-edge technology and innovative design. Now, the company is collaborating with partner Diesel to produce a motorcycle with a unique blend of styling elements: the Ducati Diavel Diesel.
Like all Ducati’s machines, the Ducati Diavel Diesel is light but powerful. It runs on a 162 HP Testastretta 11° DS engine, and inclusion of the Ducati Safety Pack and Riding Mode make its high-precision handling more accessible to those who may not have extensive experience with motorcycles. Diesel’s influence is visible in the exacting attention to design detail – from the hand-brushed stainless steel superstructure to the vintage-styled LCD dashboard and Zircotec ceramic-coated exhaust pipes.
“The details characterizing the Diavel Diesel cannot fail to captivate connoisseurs of special bikes but also people from different walks of life, such as fashion,” Ducati Motor Holding CEO Claudio Domenicali explained. “It’s always stimulating for us to move outside the world of motorcycling and widen our brand’s areas of interest.”
There’s no doubt that this bike’s dramatic design will appeal to quite a range of customers. In a stylistically appropriate move, the companies have also decided to limit the quantity of numbered units produced to 666.
