Expedition SEMA Hits the 4,000 Milestone!

After 11 months of planning and building the ‘Trail Rat’ Toyota FJ-40 for Expedition SEMA, Aaron Brown and Ed Goff reached the milestone 4,000 mile mark on their cross country adventure. 19 days ago they departed Catawba, N.C. for the Trans America Trail, an epic off-road journey with the RacingJunk.com Classifieds Booth at the SEMA show in Las Vegas as the final destination.

4,000 miles in 19 days is an average of 210 off-road miles a day, which is a brutal pace for both the vehicle and the occupants. As a testament to the quality of the components and skills of the Garage Shop build, the Trail Rat has had no mechanical issues thus far and is ready for the last 300 miles of trails through the Nevada back country.

The event takes place Oct. 29 at 3PM at the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings, NV 89019. 4X4 capable vehicles are welcome and encouraged to join Expedition SEMA after the Meet and Greet to hit the dirt trails back to Las Vegas. Event invites to be sent out soon!
