Set New Records at SCTA California Mile

A launch date of April 23-24, 2016 has been decided for the new SCTA California Mile at the Mojave Air and Space Port, and registration is officially open for the 2016 event.

Following a successful SCTA Mojave Mile last year, the SCTA has formed the New California Mile. There is one big difference. The 2016 event is now a “Records Setting Event”.

As this is the New California Mile, every class currently has no record and no minimum, meaning you could be the record setter for your class. You are permitted to enter one class per day, so hurry up and register now as there is a maximum of just 125 entries. If your vehicle crosses the end of the mile, even if you have to push it across, you get the record if you were the quickest to get there.

Camping will be available for all entries and their crew for $25 for the weekend. Campsites are 20′ X 40′. This will be Dry camping and SCTA will provide chemical toilets and trash dumpsters.
