Pinup of the Week: Ivy D’Muerta

It all started in 2006 with a few pinup poses… Fast forward to today - Ivy is still breaking barriers and stereotypes in the entertainment and modeling industry by showing tattoos are only an expression of art, which shouldn't limit one's ability to be taken seriously. She has walked for Fashion Week, debuted in national television commercials for such companies as Ford Motor Vehicles, Volkswagen, E! Entertainment in partnership with The Grammys, and was a West Coast Correspondent for Sirius XM's Liquid Metal.
She and her sister grew up in the hot rod and bike culture, and her favorite pastime was watching and participating in the SCTA Time Trials in El Mirage, CA., along with haunting LACR whenever she could get over there. Mix that with seeing classic pinups and obsessing with the beauties in the 50's from classic films, Ivy combined her passions and started this wild ride with her first pinup shoot in 2006, featuring a cute "Lumber Jack" theme. And that's how you make an Ivy!
Ivy actively supports and works alongside charities such as the Keep A Breast Foundation and is an advocate and ambassador for Dame Life, promoting education on eating disorders as well as bullying awareness.
Ivy is studying to obtain her degree in physics with an emphasis on astrophysics. She has a background in psychology, law, and the arts. She is an avid hockey fan, a hiking and backpacking enthusiast, and is always on the hunt for the next big adventure.
