Pinup of the Week: Kimlan (Miss Right)

Kimlan here, a Pinup model originally from Virginia Beach, VA and now residing in the Bay Area. I'm a unique mix of Vietnamese, Spanish, Italian, German and Welsh. I'm a hardworking mother by day and a goofball by night. I’m a business manager and mother of a beautiful girl. My daughter, who is also an advocate of anti-bullying, teaches our young women to believe in themselves and strive for greatness, no matter what race, skin tone, birth defect, weight, social class; we are all equal and beautiful in someway.
I did my first photo shoot with Mitzi and Co in 2012. It gave me back the feeling of being comfortable in my own skin, and a passion for life. It reminded me that I’m not just a mother and business manager; somewhere inside is still a sex kitten dying to get out. Being able to be someone else and flourishing in one's own beauty in front of the camera has been one of the most amazing experiences in my life. I’ve met some of the raddest and most inspiring, down-to-earth women in the world being in this industry. I'm so grateful for how modeling has enriched my life, and the remarkable friends who came along with it.
In my free time I enjoy vintage shopping, working on cars, listening to oldies, and dancing to anything and everything. I love The Lord of the Rings series and anything Spartan related. Not to mention John Wayne, James Bond or even a little Dirty Harry. I also enjoy watching the Giants, Warriors, and UFC events. Growing up with a single father from the 1930s strengthened me to be tough and independent, but still a beautiful and classy lady. As my dad would say, “You couldn’t get a date without knowing how to dance, or having impeccable manners.” The good old days of class and beauty!
I'm in love with everything from the 50's, from the craftsmanship to how courtship was with the ladies! Chivalry isn't dead! I believe a smile can go a long way, and that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So go out and smile at everyone who passes, strike up a conversation with a stranger and spread good vibes to everyone. You never know how that one smile could affect someone's day.
