After the ARB is setup on the mount tube, the respective end plates (used for added welding area) are slipped into place and the complete assembly is test fit once more. As you can see, it fits nicely between the stock spring and shock. Keep in mind that it’s difficult to mount further forward in a car such as a GM G-body with stock springs. Does mounting the ARB ahead or behind the housing make any difference in performance? Nope. It doesn’t care which way it mounts and it will function in either location.
