Chevrolet Performance and PROFORM Parts have created a custom pink crate engine that will be given away to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation and Michigan Cancer Research Fund.
Racing Junk is proud to be a project sponsor and encourages everyone who is a legal resident of the US and Canada, except Quebec, and at least 18 years old to register (for free) to win this unique engine by visiting www.PinkEngineGiveaway.com. One lucky winner will be chosen at random on January 22, 2014.
The Pink ZZ383 Chevrolet Performance Crate Engine is rated at 425 HP and 449 lb-ft of torque. Its short-block has 4-bolt mains, a forged crank, heavy-duty rods and hypereutectic pistons. Fast Burn aluminum heads have 2.00/1.55-inch valves and roller rockers. A PROFORM Street Series carburetor sits on a GM high-rise intake manifold. Final compression ratio is 9.6:1, allowing the Pink ZZ383 to make plenty of power on pump gas.
