Formula-E, the single seat all-electric racing series, presented its first ever public demonstration of the Spark-Renault SRT_01E race car on Monday in front of an underwhelmed crowd at CES 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
While the car looks like a proper formula car, it seems to be missing its soul as it quietly hums past onlookers. Here at The Burnout offices, we’re pretty much in agreement that while we don’t mind not having an exhaust note in our daily lives, there’s something unnerving when it comes to silent, zero emission race cars.
