Default vids 11-18-07 Shadyside 10.5 extreme Grudge outlaw

i have 5 vids..i will Put them in order...the car you will see is My good buddy Craig Owen..nick name "Home grown".....

1 vid from a Saturday shakedown

then 4 vids from the acutal race today

1st run was against the 1979 Alcohol Blown injected Honda
2nd run was a silver Nova
3rd- Run was a sliver 280
last run for the Money was a 150k late model mustang

out of respect i cannot mention his et's..per his request..,,he is a serious grudge racer and knows many people view sights like this...i will say that is 60 ft was best 1.11 and worse 1.13....and will also say there is no 5's in the 1st number of his et...he was on in his driving all day long 0.32 lights all day...at this level you have to be there on the trigger or its over.

he won the 3k purse..GREAT JOB CRAIG !!

10 inch tires up in the 150 mph range.

enjoy...also i stood my 67 camaro up in the tower lane on Saturday

OUTLAW TRACK BABY !!!.Dirty South Racing...most anthing goes..No tech,no chassis certifictions required,no firesuits required...although most do wear them,,you do see very little tagged cars including mine...and you are right you can get so close that 1 big step and your on the track..

i have been up North when they put you thru all the $hit before you run..it was a bummer,,,i ran a NMCA race back in 2003 with my v-8 bug..after i finally made it thru tech (barely)..i was told as log as run 10.0 on up i was fine...i made 2 passes 10.05 and 10.01..i told my wife i could not do this anylonger, and that i would give the juice next round....plus i thought they werent paying that much attention to all the cars there in Atlanta House of Speed...so i came off hard and kept it nailed...ran a 9.62et at 144 mph (in a 96 inch wheel base VW)..on the big end the guy giving the tickets gave me mine shaky his head..i got back around to staging and 2 offcials were flagging me over..they told me to load it up i was done for the day..i knew what they meant..so i went home early...

lol..

p.s.,,but boy is was fun out running all those 10.0 cars in my VW even if it wasn't buy one pass.....
