Default fairbanks torque converter.

i can get a 8 inch fairbanks converter for 300.00 and it's new?
is fairbanks a quality converter.
i can get a precision industries 8 inch converter for 400.00
i can also get a stage 2 8 inch tci with 75 runs for 250.00.
any help would be nice good or bad . i just dont have the cash to throw at a converter when i still have trans to build as well . it going behind a 406 with a th350 and 4.10 gear

ive tried a couple of fairbanks valve body kits and wasnt happy with them. went to tci and had alot firmer shift and quicker shift as well. id go with TCI if i were you. jmo

There's a good change no matter which converter you decide to buy, that you will have to send it to the manufacturer to get it dialed in for your combo. Think its about $300 but well worth it. I'd also look into buying the TCI, have had good luck with them before. Chris
