I have a 468 BBC 4 bolt main, GM steel crank 4" stroke, eagle H beams 850 HP 7500RPM, srp pistons 48cc dome, doug herbert mach roller, 698 700 lift 269 277 @50 305 310 108 LC, AFR 335 cnc heads 2.30 1.88 121cc chamber, 1150 holly dominator, 2speed pg tranny brake,tubbed 83 camaro 32" tall tires and 433 gears. I want to run 8.60 in the 1/4. Please inlighten me on my set up.

Its been quite a few yrs ago, I had a all glass 84 firebird that weighed 2350 wet with a 468 that made 714 hp, ran 9.0s at 151. What are You using to figure the 850 hp?

Better have about a 250HP Plate Kit under that 1150,to run the # you are after!

My brother run's a 1986 dodge daytona, 2450 with him in it, 604 indy hemi with sheetmetal intake, 2 1050 with 200 shot, powerglide, dana60 with 4.56, 16x33, run's 8;40 1/4, if this combo helps.

I think that he was refering to the rods rated HP.
I'm with BBCHEVY on this one, your gonna need lots of spray to get them numbers.
Your particular combo will net you about 700 to 750 poines.

I am going to agree with this but say a 150hp kit some 468's can be made to fly if you get luck you'll get into the 8's any idea car weight ?

you need 823.4520390598471 Horsepower to run 8.60 in 1/4 in a 2650lb car...
