well it started out $1500 and came down to $600 said he needed the money to pay for parts. the heads and intake where just as the ad said but your right i should have pulled the pan . i was tired and it was late but the point is i got scamed at least it was only 700 in the end not 1500. it just a bs motor with gt40p heads x cam and single plane intake .the stock piston that the valves are hiting are the problem and its never been apart.
i know thats not much money for a motor but thats why i bought it money tights and i dont need more junk

It is not how much the motor was listed for it is the intent of the sale and how it was actually listed. I am just glad this guy did not get you for thousands of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I would still file a police report in his area and follow through with a small claim suit in his area as well

I am sorry you got screwed, but Personally i would either buy a engine from a company with a good name or build my own, would not ever buy from a single person.

Default 2ND CLUE

Reduction in price by over half?? If that didnt turn the lights on Im not sure what would?? I can tell you if some one gave me the same deal & reduced the price over half I would have dissassembled the motor on the spot! If its what he advertised no foul,if not he probably wouldnt let you tear it down??Just an opinion by someone that has experience on being ripped off oh here--You really got a cheap lesson, several folks on here have paid alot more for the same lesson--

see several post here about sellers ripping off buyers but buyer don't post RJ listing number. be great if others know what the ad said.
