Default BBC Blown Injected Engine

Working with a friend on his willys. 502 blown, injected chevy. Now the problem, car starts, runs fine until its up to temp. When shut off, it will not start until it cools down. Motor turns when hot but will not fire. Fuel pressure 50psi when cranking. removed blower today to replace magnetic pickup in distributor. Can't get at the cap with blower in place. Have spark at plugs. Car still will not fire when hot, let it sit till it cools and it fires immediately. Could this be a bad coil????? OR WHAT ELSE, MY BUDDY IS GOING CRAZY!!!!!!!!

This problem was talked about in another thread somewhere. The suggestion was that the static compression may be too low. I have a blown bbc car, have not had this problem.

What kind of injection, i am assuming electronic not mechanical? Will it try to fire hot if you dump fuel in the hat? Are you just assuming its loosing spark?

Need to know more about what kind of set up you have

X2, he said it had spark at the plugs, i've ran as low as 8.0 to one but with a short cam duration, no problems firing. I'm thinking it's a fuel problem. I run blown alcohol with 10.0 to 1 and sometime have too give i little shot of gas when it's warm.

But Zip, he says it has spark, but he is also asking if the coil is bad, so i am assuming he doesnt know if it has spark or not when it gets hot. Lol. I believe its a fuel prob too.
