This was our weather on Jan 15th. We're located about 3 1/2hrs north of Minot North Dakota.

Well the only thing I did to my 57' was loosen off the blower belt,I didn't want it to shrink and brake,lol! My Altered runs on Methanol I think thats pretty much like 100% proof homebroo,we only drank that just in case of an emergency,lol!

I think most birds froze mid flight,no just kidding,somehow there surviving. We've had a cold winter so far,usually hovering in the low -30's,it started in Dec. We usually only get 2 or 3 weeks of the stuff but she's hanging in there for some reason. The old chimney was just a smok'in and a good excuse to snuggle up with the wife!
Just yesterday the weather broke and started to warm up,today its -4C which is 22F. Wow I think we're going to the beach :lol: Global Warming what the F is that :shock:

Just think how good your air density is. Nothing but HP. lol.

Our weather here has been great. Midland dragstrip( DesertThunderRaceway) is rumored to open this month if the weather stays warm. Be nice to smell alittle burnt rubber.

Bottle it up and sell it ! Its so cold, if I fire up my race engine, the carb ices up in seconds. Won't run long enough to smoke 'em for that FRESH burnt rubber smell....................
