can't get aeroquip fittings over my braided lines

their is something else wrong i also have some 8 an fittings with 8 an hose i bought from summit it pushes right on. this 10 an won't even start i push my guts out with fitting in vise and it won't even start. i think its this hose i got off ebay its goodridge hose for nascar had 10 an crimped fitting on it i think its bigger than regular 10 an hose .

when i cut the stainless off its pretty tight even just on the hose.

I figured the makers had a standardized bit for all hoses/ends, but I guess not.

I try to keep with the same maker for hose and ends. Hope you get it sorted out.

just went to a sight that sells goodridge fittings and hose it says fittings are not compatable with other brands so most likely hose isn't either well i guess i'll go buy more hose thanks guys zano

ZANO-..if you pay the shipping charges to and from. YOU send those hose and fittings to me..i will put them together for you and send them back...if your interested in this pm me and i will give you my address...it would be much cheaper than buying new hose or fittings.....you don;t have to worry about me screwing you everyone knows me here..been here going on 5 years....

i tell you i can not stand the braided hose always had trouble never
worked like the magazine showed always had leaks, so now
i go socketless and never had a problem and i like the reg. blk hose
the braided looks to fancy for me, i don't like any chrome in my
motor just horse power, bjuice is a good guy to help out, bet he
already showed his daughter how to cut the hose, i could never get
the braided hose to work always leaked :cry:

brian appreciate the help went to keystone yesterday and picked up new hose. i brought the goodridge with me i purchased on ebay. its a larger diameter outside keystone is our local drag shop they couldn't get it on either . i would have to purchase goodridge fittings to make it work. i'm going to put it back on ebay. but specify you must use goodridge fittings. thanks again zane

TTT for Brian offering to help!!!

The biggest problems I have seen with S/S braid and fitting is the market is flooded with cheap off brand junk. Stick to a brand name quality product. It is not worth the frustration.
